BIO MEDICAL WASTE MANAGEMENT RULES
These rules shall apply to all persons who generate, collect, receive, store, transport, treat, dispose, or handle bio medical waste in any form.
Including hospitals, nursing homes, clinics, dispensaries, veterinary institutions, animal houses, pathological laboratories, blood banks, ayush hospitals, clinical establishments, research or educational institutions, health camps, medical or surgical camps, vaccination camps, blood donation camps, first aid rooms of schools, forensic laboratories and research labs.
ANNUAL REPORT BIO MEDICAL WASTE
According to Bio Medical Waste Management Rules, every occupier or operator of common bio-medical waste treatment facility shall submit an Annual Report containing information regarding quantity waste generated or disposed per annum to the State Pollution Control Board/ Pollution Control Committee in Form-IV, on or before the 30th June of every year following the financial year to which that return relates.
Complete filing of Bio Medical Waste Authorization in accordance with Bio Medical Waste Management Rules.
Filing of Consent to Establish and Consent to Operate for Hospitals/ Health Care Establishments as applicable
Filing of Annual Report for Bio Medical Waste Management to the concerned State Pollution Control Board.
Provide training to health care staff, involved in handling of bio medical waste.
