ENVIRONMENTAL IMPACT ASSESSMENT

Every project which is covered under Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA) Notification and has Environmental Clearance has to submit half-yearly compliance reports in respect of the stipulated prior environmental clearance terms and conditions in hard and soft copies to the regulatory authority concerned, on 1st June and 1st December of each calendar year.

The project proponent has to enlist its status on all the conditions as mentioned in the Environment Clearance granted along with compliances followed, testing of environmental parameters and measures taken to prevent pollution.

The project proponent has to submit half-yearly compliance report for the period April- September on or before 1st December and for the period October – March on or before 1st June.

Checklist for Projects during Construction Phase for Dust Pollution Control

Install Wind breaking walls of appropriate height along the peripheral boundary of Project to prevent dust emission from escaping.
Cover the Construction material/ debris so as to minimize fugitive emissions.
Install Mist Cannon/ Anti Smog Gun/ Water Sprinkler to suppress the dust emissions from unpaved surfaces.
Provide wheel washing system for washing the vehicles entering or leaving the project site.
Install adequate emission control device such as bag filters with Cement Storage Areas.
