In order to control Pollution caused by Industrial/ Commercial units and for management of Waste, certain Pollution Control Norms/Acts/Rules have been notified by the Ministry of Environment, Govt. of India and Pollution Control Boards. These norms have been framed considering the assimilative capacity of our environment for the purpose of protecting and improving the quality of the environment and preventing and abating environmental pollution.
