1. Apply for Hazardous waste authorization through Form 1 to the state pollution control board.
2. Ensure all the documents are correctly prepared and attached to the application. Get these documents signed duly by authorized person. Alongside application include – consent to establish and consent to operate documents.
3. Submit the completed application form and required documents to State pollution control board.
4. The Board will review the application and accompanying documents. If the application is in sync requirements they proceed to the next step.
5. If the application found suitable by the board and it meets the criteria, the board will grant the authorization.
Documents required for obtaining Hazardous Waste Certification-
1. Location Map showing layout plan of the site.
2. Information about handling and storing hazardous waste, including procedures and photos of setup.
3. Copies of Consent to Establish certificate
4. Copies of Consent to Operate certificate
5. Agreement copy with Common Hazardous Waste Treatment Storage Disposal Facility or Authorized Recyler or Reprocessor.
6. For renewal of authorization, a compliance report related to previous approval is to be submitted.
